Biography

Dan St. Pierre is a professional communicator, strategist, and corporate leader with over 12 years of experience helping establish, scale, and elevate organizations in the private and public sector. He is currently the Executive Director of the Alberta Craft Distillers Association, where he is working with Alberta’s small and craft spirits producers to develop the industry, create a consumer brand, and move policy changes within government that will accelerate growth. Prior to joining ACDA, Dan was the senior corporate communications leader at Explore Edmonton – the City of Edmonton’s destination management and marketing organization. He holds a Master of Arts degree in communications, leads the International Association of Business Communicators Edmonton Chapter as President, and is active in Edmonton’s economic development ecosystem. In January 2023, Dan was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for his commitment to, and work in community development.
