Biography

Shayne van der Meer is currently working as the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) Specialist at Calgary Economic Development. In this role, they help connect companies with aspirations of going global to experts in the field of international trade. Having graduated from Mount Royal University with a BBA in International Business, Shayne is passionate about assisting SMEs on their international expansion journey. He coordinates with program participants and speakers, handles the TAP local and national partnerships and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish during the cohorts.
