Biography

Rochelle Edwards is the Community Coordinator for the Trade Accelerator Program at Calgary Economic Development. TAP is an initiative that provides the resources, connections and knowledge for small and medium businesses to export successfully into new markets. She leads the recruitment processes, alumni after-care and day-of facilitation of the TAP cohorts. She is also the founder of a small business called Tribal Vanilla, which imports fair trade vanilla products from multiple developing countries and sells them to grocery stores, bakeries, distilleries, ice cream shops, etc. Her business went through TAP a few years and effectively doubled revenue the following year.
