Biography

Jeff Doucette is the Founder and General Manager of Field Agent Canada. Powered by almost 300,000 Canadian shoppers armed with its proprietary smart phone app, Field Agent provides retailers, foodservice operators and their suppliers with a range of innovative and inexpensive services to help them collect the information needed to measure and grow their business. This includes retail audits, shopper insights, ratings and reviews and innovative sampling programs.

A graduate of Dalhousie University, Jeff started his career in the industry at the age of three, growing up in the restaurant and convenience store industry. He then spent 11 years in a range of retailer-facing roles at both Unilever and L’Oreal, including working with sales teams from over 50 countries. In 2008, he founded Sales Is Not Simple Inc., a consultancy designed to help brands be successful at major retailers. Jeff is also a regular contributor to Western Grocer magazine and other industry publications. He lives in Calgary and has two young children.
