NEW DATES HAVE BEEN RELEASED FOR AGRI-FOOD INNOVATION EXPO

Agri-Food Innovation Expo is being moved in response to the voice of the agri-food sector in Alberta.

RED DEER, ALTA., MAY 24, 2023 – Today Westerner Park and Lethbridge & District Exhibition jointly announced the postponement of Agri-Food Innovation Expo. The event was originally scheduled to run June 6-8, 2023, and will now make its debut at Westerner Park, Red Deer, Alberta from November 28–30, 2023.

“Agri-Food Innovation Expo was created to provide the province of Alberta with economic opportunities to generate revenue, increase employment, and support sustainable growth within the agri-food sector,” said Mike Olesen, chief executive officer of Westerner Park. “This is an unprecedented time for our province, and we want to be respectful of our circumstances by hosting this event during a time that will be better for our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees.”

“After speaking with our provincial partners and listening to our network within the agri-food sector, we are confident that the new dates will set Agri-Food Innovation Expo up for success this year and in the years to come,” said Mike Warkentin, chief executive officer of Lethbridge & District Exhibition. “We know we have built a strong conference and the new dates will only strengthen it further by offering it at a time that better suits our audiences in the agri-food sector.”

Westerner Park and Lethbridge & District Exhibition have planned to alternate hosting the event and have tentatively planned for Agri-Food Innovation Expo to take place from November 26-29, 2024, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
