Biography
Kevin Chanut has over 20 years of professional experience spanning across primary production, agribusiness and agri-food. Having worked for leading Canadian companies, including CIBC, Viterra, TMX Group and TELUS Agriculture he has accumulated deep experience in commercial & agriculture banking, technology, service & product innovation, customer experience and strategic planning.
Kevin leads the lending division at AFSC, an organization committed to providing financing to the agricultural industry. Leading a team across the province Kevin focuses on developing a team that provides value added expertise across the entire value chain.
As a leader, he has established a track record of guiding teams on successful projects and thrives on new and complex challenges while placing a high value on helping others succeed. Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Lethbridge and MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University.
Outside of work Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys and pursuing adventures in the mountains.
