Canadian Food Inspection Agency – Safe Food for Canadians Regulations

This presentation will be an overview of the requirements of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations including licencing, traceability, and labelling. 

Biography

Elaine Miller is an Operations Specialist at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), where she has 19 years of experience across various food commodities including meat, dairy, processed egg, shell egg, processed fruits and vegetables, fresh fruits and vegetables, and honey.

Elaine provides support to inspection staff in the Western Area by providing guidance and interpretation related to the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations, the Safe Food for Canadians Act and Regulations, CFIA operational guidance, and CFIA policies.
